• My personal introduction to " Letter From A Battered Wife." The introduction covers my personal thoughts, experiences, and feelings concerning this piece of literature about abuse I have put online. The author of the letter is unknown.

• The Violent Marriage This article is a hand out I received at the local Spouse Abuse Shelter in group one day. Its text is very blurry, and has been copied over many times. The second page has this listed: "Dobash R. Emerson, and Dobash, Russell. VIOLENCE AGAINST WIVES THE FREE PRESS, NEW YORK. 1979." , which I think may refer to the author of this small article. I don't know if this article is part of a book, or a larger article. I also don't know if there are any copyright issues involved. If there are, please inform me and I will remove the article at once.

I vowed I would give back the many blessings I have received during my journey to becoming a survivor. My goal is to help other women by writing my thoughts and stories of what I've been through. This is where I plan to do it. All the documents and articles I have gathered over the years about domestic violence I will share with you, including my personal account on how the articles related to my situation. With most of the documentation I've included introductions and personal thoughts about the material I'm presenting. Bit by bit, article by article, my story will be told.
